HVAC & Generator Rental

The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, management, materials, equipment (such as cabling and duct work) for the delivery and maintenance of HVAC units. The HVAC units shall be self-supported units with hoses hooked to erected 40’x 80’ framed Navi-Trac tents and 19’x 36’ Sprung structures with diesel generators. The contractor shall provide a separate self-supported HVAC system to each of the nine (9) Navi-Trac tents. The contractor shall provide a separate self-supported HVAC system to each of the thirty-eight (38) Sprung structures. The generators shall be topped off with diesel fuel at receipt and returned at the same level. All diesel fuel during period of training will be provided by the Government. Each HVAC unit shall cool the 40’x 80’ framed Navi-Trac tent with insulated rating of R1, gravel base flooring and 150 personnel with an outside temperature of over 100 degrees down to 68 degrees. The tents are tan and will be in direct sunlight. The 150 personnel staying in the Navi-Trac tent will provide constant travel in and out of the tent. Each HVAC unit shall cool the 19’x 36’ Sprung structures with insulated rating of R15, concrete base flooring and 14 personnel with an outside temperature of over 100 degrees down to 68 degrees. The tents are light green and will be in direct sunlight. The 14 personnel staying in the Sprung structures will provide constant travel in and out of the structure. The HVAC units shall be delivered and maintained at the following locations: U.S. Army Cadet Command LSA Densberger FAC 9180, (supporting 4 separate tents) and LSA Baker FAC 9316, (supporting 5 separate tents), Fort Knox, KY 40121. The HVAC units at LSA Densberger, FAC 9180, shall be delivered and operational no later than (NLT) 0800 EST on 03 June 2021 the HVAC units at LSA Baker, FAC 9316, shall be delivered and operational NLT 0800 EST on 27 May 2021 and pick-up shall occur NLT 0800 EST on 28 August 2021 at the same location(s). The HVAC units shall have the capability to feed up to four (4) each 20” tent penetration points. The penetration points are on each end of the tent, approximately 1.5 foot and 8-foot above the ground.
