Description | **As of November 21, 2022, project was awarded toKelly Crane Services, Inc. but awarded a mount is not available.** The White County Board of Commissioners is requesting sealed proposals from qualified contractors to provide a Pickleball Courts LED Lighting System at the White County Parks and Recreation Department. October13, 2022, 12:00pm EST Deadline for written questions to Purchasing Assistant sarrington@whitecounty.net The White County Board of Commissioners is requesting sealed proposals from qualified contractors to provide a Pickleball Courts LED Lighting system at the White County Parks and Recreation Department, 327 Asbestos Rd. Cleveland, GA 30528. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment and materials, and perform all operations necessary to remove and install lighting. The contractor will be responsible for measurements and is responsible for accuracy of the measurements and the fit of the work. Contractor shall provide layout plans, work plans and schedules, to be approved by White County staff. White County is requesting pricing for Parks and Recreation Pickleball Courts Lighting. White county will consider one of these options. Contractor shall: a. Install 12 black in color light poles in cement footings. Light poles will be set in a minimum of 1200 lbs of concrete per pole. b. Install lights mounted at a minimum twenty-foot high poles. c. Lights should deliver an average of 30 footcandles (fc), and a max/min ratio of 2.0 or less. d. All lighting will be projected on the court area only, not on surrounding property. e. Lighting system will include one on/off switch at gate with overriding timer. f. Lighting system will include one 110-volt outlet per (per pair) for ball machine, etc. g. Lighting system will include electrical panel with 9 spaces h. All wiring will be done to manufactures specifications, by licensed electricians. i. All trench lines will be covered and smoothed; all trash will be removed. j. The county will provide 100 amps of power within 75 feet of Pickleball Courts. |
