RFP Engineering - Professional Services for North Franklin Street Depot Street Intersection

The scope of work shall consist of providing: Surveying (including preparation of right of way and/or easement plats) Sidewalk and Road Design Plans Geotechnical Borings and Analysis Materials Analysis Environmental Reviews & Permitting (including Permit Sketches) Assistance and Participation in the Public Involvement Process Hydrologic and Hydraulic Analysis (including Stormwater Management & Scour Analysis) Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Plan Pavement Marking, Signage and Signal Plans Signal Design Plans Utility Relocation and/or Adjustment Plans Lighting Plans Traffic Analysis & Data Specifications (including Special Provisions) Right of Way Acquisition Cost Estimation Construction Administration Support Professional Services for North Franklin Street Depot Street Intersection The Town of Christiansburg is seeking expressions of interest from consulting engineering firms who wish to be considered to provide professional engineering services for: N Franklin Street / Depot Street Intersection: Improve safety on Depot St / N Franklin St and Depot St / College St by adding pedestrian facilities and reconfiguring turn lanes at both intersections; N Franklin St will be reconfigured from two thru lanes in both direction to one thru line in both directions with a central turn lane and College St will be converted to right-in-right out only configuration. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
