Description

The Massachusetts Division of Fisheries & Wildlife is soliciting written quotes from contractors to conduct habitat restoration work on up to 32 acres at the Southampton Wildlife Management Area (WMA) located in Southampton, Massachusetts. Treatments to be conducted include mowing and mulching of understory shrubs and trees - both hardwood and softwood - within established fields/grasslands at the site. The principal objective of this project is to restore/re-establish fields and grasslands that have been overtaken by pioneering woody species.
