Description | 2022-2023 LMIG Resurfacing for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the installation of the 2022, 2023 and addl. 2023 Local Maintenance and Improvement Grant (LMIG), leveling and resurfacing improvements to Meders Drive/Watson Circle and Gibbs Patrick Road City of Omega may select a successful low bidder after evaluation of all bids. The Scope of Work Includes: Fiscal Year 2022, 2023 and 2023 Addl. Local Maintenance & Improvement Grant (LMIG) Leveling and Resurfacing Improvements to Meders Drive/Watson Circle and Gibbs Patrick Road All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of the City of Omega in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work: such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded a Contract, will promptly enter into a Contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bonds as provided by the law and approved by the Attorney for the City of Omega. Performance Bond shall be equal to 100 Percent (100%) of the contract amount and Payment Bond shall be equal to 100 percent (100%) of the Contract amount. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to City of Omega, Georgia as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the Contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within (10) days after being notified that he has been awarded the Contract. All work on the project must be completed within 90 consecutive calendar days. Contractors shall submit all questions in writing to Mark Dill via email or fax.
