Mill, Patch, and Resurface Roadway Pavements at Various Locations in Allegany County

The MDOT SHA hereby notifies all bidders that in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority/ disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this notice and will not be subjected to discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, ancestry, national origin, sex, age, marital status, sexual orientation, sexual identity, genetic information or disability in consideration for an award. Number: AC-STBG-NHPP-000B(692)E This Contract consists of milling, patching, and resurfacing asphalt pavements and line striping at various locations in Allegany County. This work may also include bridge approaches, and deep patching. The following roadways are under consideration at the time of advertisement for bid: MD 36 from West Virginia State line to Franklin Salt Barn US 220 from Structure 1075 over Mill Run to Rawlings Height Dr MD 948 AQ Beautiful Plans Road and Old Adams Road MD 36 from Midland to MD 55 MD 51 from Wheeler Rd to Rutty Road MD 51 from Rutty Road to Opessa St MD 51 from Opessa Street to Packhorse Road This is a non-exclusive Contract. It does not include all work expected to be performed in the designated areas. Therefore, at times, other Contractors may be performing similar work that is not associated with this Contract. Special attention is directed to GP-5.06, Cooperation Between Contractors. Pre-Bid Conference: A Pre Bid Conference will not be held for this project. Minimum wage rates for each Project, if applicable, have been pre-determined by law and are set forth in the Invitation for Bids (IFB). Bids must only be made upon the latest electronic proposal forms (and attachments) that are furnished by the Administration. In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, no bid, performance or payment bonds are required for bids less than $100,000.00. However, bids $100,000.00 and above will not be considered unless a Bid Security is submitted as outlined in the Invitation for Bids. Bid Security shall equal at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. Also, the successful bidder will be required to supply Payment and Performance Bonds for all Contracts in excess of $100,000.00. The MDOT SHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
