Westfall Windows Replacement

The building's current most critical need is in the windows - hardware and operating mechanisms are obsolete and failing. This project's primary focus is to replace all original windows on resident floors 2 through 12 of Westfall Hall. Regulated materials still exist in wall finishes, mastics, insulation components, and sealants throughout these spaces. In addition, to the installation of new windows, interior restoration will include new flooring and base, ceiling finishes, light fixtures, window coverings, and moveable wardrobes (stand-alone furniture). All interior walls, doors, and door frames are to be painted. This project shall also include all abatement necessary to remove existing flooring, ceiling texture and lighting, built-in wardrobe closets and window frames and glazing within all resident rooms, resident floor lounges, and resident floor corridors on these floors. All abatement work will be completed by a General Abatement Contractor contracted by CSU through a different procurement, but it is expected that the D/B Entity will coordinate with awarded GAC.
