Dix Park Play Plaza IT Design and Integration

The Work is to provide services and be responsible for all information technology, internet, telecom, audio/visual and security design, product selection, specifications, and construction administration verification, all as set forth in this RFQ and more particularly described in this section. • Meet regularly with the City and the City’s Play Plaza team to coordinate work. Provide meeting agendas and follow up meeting minutes. • Coordinate with the Play Plaza team and define the network requirements in terms of network port locations, total bandwidth per site, redundancy/faulttolerance, and the number of devices needed to support Play Plaza operations. • Coordinate with the Play Plaza team and confirm the number and location of wireless access points, security cameras, JACEs, workstations, point of sale credit card readers, etc., needed to support Play Plaza operations. • Coordinate with Play Plaza design team on equipment racks and cabinet selection and layout, coordination with City on selection, layout, access, clearances. • Verify and design fiber and cabling path locations and coordinate with design team, City, utility providers and third-party vendors on conduit run locations, hand hole locations, building and IT room entry points, any existing onsite infrastructure and coordination with existing systems. • Preparation of specifications and design drawings for entirety of IT and security system to include general technology requirements for telecommunications and video surveillance systems, patch panel and IT switch selection and coordination, grounding/bonding, horizontal cabling, connection cords, labelling, UPS, site readiness for third party vendor installation. • Review and approval of submittals, shop drawings, bulletin drawing and design update coordination and document preparation, proposal preparation (including cost changes) for any required changes during installation. • Provide close out documents, as-builts, Owner O&M training. • Anticipated Deliverables: design documents and construction documents for review and feedback. Bid-ready packages for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) to incorporate into project.
