Description

Andover Fire Station #2 (650 S Andover Road) : Plans call for the construction of a new 14,350 square foot Fire Station. Interior spaces include a main public entrance, storage areas, meeting rooms, locker rooms, restrooms, sleeping areas, kitchen, dining, dayroom, fitness area, decontamination zone, three-bay apparatus, mechanical, offices, turnout gear, laundry and dispatch. Site will include storm water retention, staff/ public/ accessible parking, landscaping, patio areas, apparatus maintenance zone and seating for public interactions. Fire/EMS Station: The existing Fire/EMS Station, located at 911 N. Andover Road, has housed the Fire Department since its construction in 1994. The building is approximately 12,450 square feet and serves both the Fire Department and Butler County EMS. The interior scope of Work for the Project will include, but not limited to, an enlarged kitchen, relocation of EMS dayroom, enlarged Firefighter dayroom, updates to sleeping quarters with separate men?s and women?s rooms, gear storage for apparatus bays, relocation of offices, relocation of training room, entry vestibule, new mechanical exhaust in the apparatus bays, new mechanical zone by multipurpose room, and relocation of oxygen storage. Exterior scope of Work will include, but not limited to, tuckpointing, fixing settlement at east side of building, a new entry canopy, replacement of exterior door, new windows, and new doors.
