Construction Manager at Risk for Cleveland Metroparks Brighton Park Trail and Site Improvement Project

The project site is located in the Cleveland Metroparks' Brookside Reservation, near the intersection of Henninger Road and Pearl Road in Cleveland, Ohio. Project consists of the construction of: an approximately 2,000 foot long Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”) compliant trail surface linking the all-purpose trail network in Brookside Reservation which currently terminates at Pearl Road to West 21st Street; an approximately 2,610 foot long natural surface trail loop; landscaping; site improvements; a signage kiosk near the trail link at Pearl Road; a parking lot; an access drive connecting to Henninger Avenue; and an observation deck area. Work items shall include, but are not limited to, the following: 1.Construction layout and staking by a Surveyor registered as such by the State of Ohio; 2.Clearing and grubbing, including tree and stump removal; 3.Excavation and embankment to achieve design alignment profile,including compaction testing and inspection (if needed); 4.Undercutting and stabilization of unsuitable subgrade; 5.Installation of compacted subbase stone, compacted and accessible surface stone, retaining walls (if needed) and drainage improvements (if needed); 6.Installation of stormwater management facilities (if needed); 7.Milling of existing asphalt (if needed), installation of stone subbase, and installation of asphalt drive and parking area; 8.Installation of accessible curb ramps; 9.Installation of signage and striping; and - Installation of landscaping grass, shrubs and trees.
