Description

Site and building upgrades to install new above ground fuel stations, extension of natural gas utility distribution from their new service meter, and removal of existing fuel and oil underground storage tanks at the Sussex County Solid Waste Facility. The above ground fuel station facility includes new above ground gasoline and diesel storage tanks with new fuel pump stations on a new outdoor concrete equipment pad at a new location in the vicinity of the Administration/Maintenance Building and current truck fueling areas. The existing gasoline and diesel fuel dispensing systems shall be removed and consist of two underground storage tanks, one 6,000-gallon diesel tank and one 2,000-gasoline tank, each with their own dedicated fuel pump stations directly adjacent to the underground tanks.
