Description

The City of East Point is seeking proposals from financially stable providers, for John D. Milner Park Exterior Athletic Lighting. The Selected Provider will be tasked with the demolition and disposal of existing fixtures and crossarms, installation of new fixtures and crossarms and electrical distribution in its' entirety. The RFP response submitted should detail the Provider's conceptual approach to fulfilling these requirements. Please see the scope of services and technical requirements for further details and instructions. There is no guarantee that the City of East Point, Georgia will utilize the services of any firm or individual responding to this Request for Proposal (RFP). The Selected Provider shall furnish all materials, equipment, tools, supplies, and labor necessary to complete the required services as described herein and to the specifications as directed including all incidentals as determined by the East Point City Power Director or his/her representative. All questions shall be directed to the City of East Point, via email tdjones@eastpointcity.org no later than 12:00 PM, Friday, September 02, 2022. The sports lighting will be for the following venues: Baseball Field 1 Baseball Field 2 Baseball Field 3 Baseball Field 4 Football Field Demo and dispose of existing fixtures and crossarms. Provide and Install new lighting Control Panel with contactors in existing electrical room at concessions/restroom building. Provide and install 120V control circuit to lighting control cabinet for remote on/off control and monitoring Install new crossarms, fixtures, electrical component enclosures and wire harnesses per manufacturer requirements. Make all necessary electrical connections to ensure lighting system is fully operational Position fixtures according to lighting manufacturer specifications Coordinate with lighting manufacturer representative and commission Contractor shall submit installation warranty on company letterhead for no less than one year Keep all heavy equipment off of playing fields. Repair damage to grounds that exceeds that which would be expected. Indentations caused by heavy equipment traveling over dry ground would be an example of expected damage. Ruts and sod damage caused by equipment traveling over wet grounds would be an example of damage requiring repair.
