Description | The project consists generally of restoring existing manholes, air release valve vaults and sewer pipes to their pre-disaster design and function by removing existing grout and loose material from damaged manholes, resetting precast manhole sections, rings and lids, grouting and sealing joints, and installing 36-in manhole lids with a 24-in hinged insets, installing concrete anti-buoyancy anchor collars on two ARV vault structures and manholes to reduce the potential shifting during flood events. Generally, the scope of work includes installing and maintain existing 12-ft wide all-weather access roads and creek crossings to reach the manholes and sewer pipe for rehabilitation in Fourche Bottoms Park and Rebsamen Park, together with incidental and ancillary work as shown on the Drawings. Major requirements associated with this project are mobilization, bypass pumping, manhole rehabilitation, sewer pipe rehabilitation by cured in place pipe lining for 18-inch, 42-inch and 54-inch sewer pipes, and site restoration, together with incidental and ancillary work. |
