CMc Services for Whole Building Modernization of Silvio V. Mollo Building Project: CMc will perform Design Phase Services including, but not limited to: scheduling, estimating and providing cost information, performing functionality and constructability reviews, developing construction sequencing and phasing plans, value management, risk management, and engagement and coordination with stakeholders, municipal offices and state agencies such as the New York City Department of Transportation, the New York City Department of Buildings, the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation, the City’s Department of Citywide Administrative Services and the New York City Police Department. The construction portion of the project will include a complete exterior envelope replacement (including the facade and roof), and addressing seismic, structural and blast mitigation deficiencies. The project will modernize Mollo’s vertical transportation, mechanical, electrical (normal and emergency), plumbing, fire protection and security infrastructure. In addition, the project will include a new security screening pavilion, accessibility upgrades and integrated main entrance. As part of the Construction Phase Services, the project will provide new interiors for the USAO and other Department of Justice offices. The project also will provide a new mechanical plant to provide chilled water and high-pressure steam service to the adjacent Department of Justice – Federal Bureau of Prisons’ Manhattan Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC).
