RFP Construction Manager at Risk - Carroll County Administration Facility

The owner has selected a Construction Manager. The scope of work for the Project is the construction of a 62,000 SF County Administration Building and all related site improvements (the "Facility"). The new building will be constructed at the existing site of the current county administration building on College Street. The existing building will be removed and is part of the Construction Manager's scope. The new building will be a three (3) level steel structure consisting of two (2) levels above ground and a single lower daylighted terrace level. The exterior of the building is envisioned to be historic in design utilizing brick with stone accents. Some of the program elements in the building include the Board of Commissioners' office and related public meeting room, the Tax Commissioner, the tax assessor, the elections offices, community development, environmental health, finance, HR, IT and fire headquarters offices. The Architect for the Project is Jericho Design Group, LLC. The preliminary stated (construction) cost limitation (SCL) for the Project is estimated to be $22 million. The final SCL may differ due to actual program requirements, funding, and other circumstances.
