Big Flats Plant Materials Center Electrical Work - Steuben County, NY

The project encompasses relocation, installation and connection of the existing backup generator at the USDA NRCS Big Flats Plant Materials Center (PMC), located in Big Flats, New York. Conduit and feed lines will need to be run from the generator to the electric panel as well as installing conduit and the service feed lines from the existing terminal box to the shop/warehouse. The generator set controller will have to be re-programmed as required to meet the new 400-amp service and a 400-amp automatic transfer switch (ATS) will need to be installed on the panel. In addition to the generator and ATS work, (4) new recessed lights (contractor furnished) and (2) 48” LED panel lights (government furnished), need to be installed at the PMC office building. Four outdoor motion detectors, weatherproof (waterproof) exterior LED yard lights need be installed on 2 different PMC buildings for security purposes.
