| Description | Clatsop County Public Works is requesting quotes for replacement of the roof on the Svensen Sheriff/Road Department Substation at 92435 Svensen Market Road, Svensen, Oregon. Remove and replace existing asphalt shingles and underlayment at the direction of the Public Works director or his designee, replace any sheathing found to be compromised Roof is 68' x 33'. A. Provide asphalt shingle roofing (30-year shingle), over new asphalt-impregnated fiberglass-reinforced paper. Oakridge Estate Gray Architectural Roofing Shingles or approved equal.B. Provide new drip edge. C. Upon removal of existing shingles and underlayment, inspect existing roof sheathing, if compromised sheathing is found contact Public Works Director or his designee for authorization for replacement with similar 5/8" sheathing. D. Protect all gutters from damage. E. Grounds to be clean and all garbage removed prior to completion. |
