Roof Coating Installation for the Thomas F. Donelon Building for Jefferson Parish General Services

We extend this proposal to cover the installation of a pure elastomeric silicone coating over the existing roofs of the Thomas Donelon Building located at 200 Derbigny Street, Gretna, LA 70053. All preparation and installation shall follow manufacturer guidelines and instructions. See attachment A for building location and areas of the top to be coated. | Line item 1: Base bid: All work is described in these specifications, excluding sections nine (9) and ten (10) for ancillary work. Line Item 2: Ancillary Work: Provide a cost per square foot to remove, repair, and replace water-damaged roofing materials described in Section 10.0 of these specifications. This identified cost will not be part of the base bid and will not be used to determine the low bidder. This line item will only be used if needed. License Requirements: A Louisiana State Contractors License issued by the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors shall be required in all of the following classifications: Commercial Contractor And/or Aspecialty license in roofing and Sheet Metal Siding A Louisiana State Contractors License will be required for this bid in accordance with LSA R.S. 37-2150 et. seq. such license(s) number(s) will be shown on the outside of the bid electronic envelope. Failure to comply will cause the bid to be rejected. Bid Bond A bid bond will be required with bid submission in the amount of 5% of the total bid. Vendors must submit an electronic bid bond through the respective online clearinghouse bond management system(s) as indicated in the electronic bid solicitation on Central Auction House. Vendor shall indicate the electronic bid bond number in the location specified on the electronic bid envelope. No scanned paper copies of any bid bond will be accepted as part of the electronic bid submission. Performance Bond: A Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the total contract price will be required. The performance bond shall be produced upon contract execution.
