1.1 Roof - Remove all existing roof materials. Install a new dimensional shingle roof to meet all city, county & state requirements as well as the H&CD Program Standards. Roof is to be hurricane hardened. Peel & stick underlayment is to be utilized. Install straps or clips, photos & paperwork to homeowner and the city for insurance wind mitigation discount. Owner's choice of color. 1.2 Soffit & Fascia - Install vinyl soffit & cap all rakes & fascia with aluminum. 1.3 Porch - Support roof. Demolish entire porch. Install new support post, joists, 5/4" x 6" decking & 2" x 2" spindle rails. All lumber to be Pressure Treated. No walls or screening to be replaced 1.4 Paint - Scrape, clean and prep as needed. Replace rotted siding & trim as needed. Prime & paint all walls & trim. Paint color to be close to existing. 1.5 Ramp - Build a platform off the front of the porch to accept a switch-back ramp down to existing sidewalk. Include a 4' wide stairway.
