Box Culvert - Route 608

Commodity Code(s): 21028 SCOPE OF WORK: The Contractor shall furnish and deliver one (1) box culvert, 12'-0" span x 8.5'-0" height, one (1) line at 53'-4 1/8"as shown in Attachments A-A2. S Standard sections shall be five feet three and a half inches (5'-3 1/2') long, each section with male and female ends and 42 degrees skew. Rubber or plastic plugs shall be included to close lifting holes in top slab after erection of box culvert. No other configuration or extra charges will be allowed. Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to Rebecca Smith Coburn at Rebecca.Coburn@VDOT.virginia.gov. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions no later than 5:00 PM on January 27, 2023. The Commonwealth further reserves the right to reject any bid if the evidence submitted by, or investigations of, such bidder fails to satisfy the Commonwealth that such bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract and to provide the services and/or furnish the goods contemplated therein.
