Description

Planning level effort: 1. Develop drawings and cost for complete replacement of waterline system and sanitary system within the Sub Area A shown on Exhibit A. 2. Develop stormwater retrofit system including use of bioswales with underdrains and traditional storm sewer systems and treatment systems within the area on Exhibit A that are inside the municipal corporation limits. 3. Develop alignments for sidewalks for each street on at least one side in Sub Area A shown on Exhibit A. 4. Review existing smoke test, sanitary sewer video, geotechnical investigations, and sanitary pump station reports to provide specific recommendations for these water improvements. Size a culvert replacement under Snowden Ave. adjacent to 95 Snowden Ave. Phase 1 Planning design: 1. Develop planning level drawings and cost for complete replacement of waterline system within this project area. 2. Develop planning level drawings and full depth pavement reconstruction with some curb and gutter and bioswales with underdrains. This approach will include a new storm sewer system integrated into the new roadway and/or road right-of-way. This approach would also include redirecting downspouts and sump pumps to these stormwater features to help reduce inflow and infiltration. Options for creative finance for homeowners’ costs related to stormwater disconnects and sanitary lateral replacement or rehabilitation. 3. Attend up to three onsite meetings with City Staff. 4. Develop an H+H model of the stormwater system. 5. Identify location for stormwater quantity and quality treatment systems. Phase 2 Detailed design phase: 1. Complete relevant surveys X:\ENGINEERING\CURRENT PROJECTS\Clintonville subdivision Utilities 2020\PLANNING\Clintonville Subdivision Water Project RFQ.docx 3 2. Utility coordination 3. Provide stage 2, 3, & final plans 4. Cost Estimates at stage 3 & final. 5. Final plans will be broken into approximately four phases for construction. 6. Geotechnical investigations 7. Non-ODOT grant preparation. 8. This phase may include the rehabilitation or replacement of the Clinton Road sanitary pump station. 9. City will provide standard drawing notes for water and wastewater. Phase 3 Construction Phase: Support during bidding for four bids: 1. Request for information support 2. Attend pre-construction meetings, up to four 3. Construction inspection (depending on City Staff availability at the time of construction) 4. City will develop bid books and handle bidding
