Description | Work, includes: Repair Chiller #6 in the airport central mechanical plant. This project will return the chiller to operating condition as originally configured with very minimal upgrades. Replace the broken tubes in the evaporator heat exchanger and others as necessary in that tube bundle to complete work. Remove motor and send to motor shop for overhaul with reinstall upon return. Overhaul compressor including cleaning and replacement of parts as required. Recharge chiller with a full amount of refrigerant Detailed scope of work and Port ofSeattle supplied chiller data and inspection reports can be found in Exhibit B. The Engineers estimate range for this project is $375,000 - $450,000.
