Description | Scope of Work: 1. Roadway Construction Engineering and Inspections Asphalt Paving Certified QMS Roadway Technician required NCDOT Conventional Density Testing Certification required 2. Concrete Paving NCDOT Certified Concrete Field Technician required Landscaping Utilities 3. Structures Construction Engineering and Inspections Custom built pedestrian bridge. 4. Contract administration in compliance with all rules, regulations, and procedures required for federal aid funded projects. 1. Construct a multi-use path along Main Avenue NW from 9th Street NW to 11th Street NW and then along 11th Street NW to Old Lenoir Road. The project starts at the intersection of Main Avenue NW and 9th Street NW and proceeds west along Main Avenue NW to 11th Street NW, then north along 11th Street NW to the intersection of 11thStreet NW and Old Lenoir Road. The project is approximately 0.9milesin length and is acritical part of the BUILD Grant “Hickory Reconnected Through Transportation Infrastructure Investment”. 2. Construct a multi-use path from Old Lenoir Road to US321 including a Bike/Ped Bridge over US321 to 13thAvenueDriveNW.From there, it continues across multiple properties to L.P. Frans Stadium and ends at the Hickory Regional Airport. The project starts at the intersection of Old Lenoir Road and Clement Boulevard and proceed swest to US321 to City owned property. A Bike/Ped bridge will be constructed overUS321.The trail will follow 13th Avenue Drive NW then across multiple properties west to L.P. Frans Stadium. From there it follows Clement Blvd NW to 9th Avenue Drive NW to the Hickory Regional Airport. The project is approximately 1.8 miles in length and is a critical part of the BUILD Grant “Hickory Reconnected Through Transportation Infrastructure Investment” |
