Description | Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bid or waive any informality or error in bidding for a period of 60 days from bid opening date. The Construction Manager for this project is AECOM Hunt, 2450 South Tibbs Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46241. METHOD OF BIDDING Project will be constructed under a Multiple Prime Contract Bids. BP-1 - Mass Excavation, Grading, and Site Utilities BP-2 - Foundations BP-3 - Structural Steel BP-4 - Roofing Bids shall be based on a "stipulated sum" basis in full accordance with Bidding Documents prepared by LANCER+BEEBE, LLC, 220 N. College Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46202. Note that other bid packages for the balance of the Project will be released in late September, 2022. Bids shall be accompanied by AIA Document A305 Contractor's Qualification statement. Bids shall be accompanied by Contractor's FiLEGALS nancial Statement specific enough and in such detail so that the Owner can make a proper determination of the Bidder's capability for completing the project if awarded. A Bid security in the form of AIA Document A310, a certified check, Indiana General Revised Form No. 86, "Contractors Combination Bid Bond and Bond for Construction" or a form from an acceptable surety shall accompany each bid. The bid security shall be in the penal amount of 5% of the total bid price and made payable to the Owner. Bids shall be accompanied by the Contract Responsibility Certification (reference specification section 00 21 00). Should Bidder withdraw his bid within 60 days from bid opening date without written consent of the Owner or fail to execute a satisfactory contract with the Owner, the Owner may declare the bid security forfeited as liquidated damages. Prior to execution of the Contract, Bidder shall furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract Sum. Bonds shall remain in full force and effect for 12 months from date of acceptance of the work. DOCUMENT AVAILABILITY: Documents will be available on a deposit basis while supplies last. After the supply is gone, documents will be available on a non-refundable basis only. DEPOSIT will be refunded in full upon return of Construction Documents to Architect/Engineer in good condition within ten (10) days after date of Bid Opening. Commence Work within 48 hours after signing contract or receiving a notice to proceed and completion of work as follows: Commence Grading and Site Utilities: September 6, 2022 Building Dry-in/Roof Substantially Complete: August 30, 2023 Project Substantial Completion: June 15, 2024 Final Completion: July 15, 2024 OTHER PROVISIONS Mt. PERFORMANCE BOND AND LABOR AND MATERIAL PAYMENT BOND The successful bidder shall, upon acceptance of his bid, be required to procure and pay for a 100% Performance Bond/Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount equal to the contract price, and such bond shall comply with all laws of the State of Indiana governing public contracts let by governmental units Project will be constructed under Multiple Prime Contracts. Bid Package #01 - Mass Excavation, Grading, & Site Utilities (awarded to Millennium Contractors, LLC) 2. Bid Package #E04 - Roofing (awarded to Insley Systems, Inc.)
