Description

The general nature of the Work is as follows: The Work includes demolition, site prep, grading, asphalt concrete paving, electrical, communications, stormwater, pavement markings, and all other work as noted on project plans for the expansion of Economy Parking Lot 1 The Planholders List is also available at this portal. All addenda will be issued through email. Bidders can register online to be placed on the Planholders List and to receive automatic e-mail notification of addenda. Abadan Reprographics & Imaging, 603 East Second Avenue, Spokane, WA 99202 (Phone: 509-747-2964) should be contacted with portal and plan ordering questions. Questions during the bid period and inquiries regarding bid results (after bid opening) should be directed to the Planning & Engineering Department of Spokane Airports, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. by contacting Lisa Corcoran at (509) 455-6406 at lcorcoran@spokaneairports.net. A contract according to the General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, and Addendums (if applicable) shall be signed prior to work commencing. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier check or surety bid bond, in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid for all bid schedules (including sales tax). A performance bond, payment bond, and liability insurance in accordance with the contract documents will be required for the Contract. This is a prevailing wage project per applicable State Law. The Spokane Airport Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality, to accept any alternate bids, and to make such award that it deems to be in the best interest of the Airport pursuant to the terms of the Instruction to Bidders and General Conditions. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. All bidders are cautioned to be aware of the requirement to have their bids considered responsive.
