Description

Project Category Code: Electrical Installation/Construction, Electrical and Controls, Water and Wastewater Facilities, Bridge (Replacement or Rehabilitation), Water/Wastewater Infrastructure, Demolition/Building Removal/Hauling/Salvage Description: The Project includes the following Work: Installation and replacement of process piping and appurtenances, and electrical and structural improvements to accommodate the existing facility. The Village of Merrimac reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 85 days after the time set for receiving Bids. Contract award shall be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. Any Contract or Contracts to be awarded are expected to be funded in part by a loan from the Wisconsin Safe Drinking Water Loan Program. This procurement will be subject to regulations contained in Chapter NR 166, Wisconsin Administrative Code and appropriate State Statutes. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), including women's and minority owned businesses, are encouraged to submit Bids for this Project. Bidders must demonstrate positive efforts to utilize DBEs. This procurement will be subject to regulations contained in NR 166.12(4). Failure to comply could result in disqualification of Bidder and termination of financial assistance or other sanctions identified in NR 166.21 and NR 166.22.
