Broad River WWTP Process Systems Upgrade Project

The Project consists of constructing as follows: The project will include the construction of new Earthen dike within the confines of the existing emergency storage lagoon. The contractor will be responsible for constructing a temporary dike allowing an existing sludge to dewater and dry to the fullest extent possible. Constructing a new permanent dike as shown on the contract drawings, installation of new self-priming pumps, decant system, installation of new floating aerators, and installation of a new diverter box as shown on the plans and described in detail specifications. Phase II Modifications to the Existing Headworks: Modifications include the construction of a new influent bypass box with operable weir gate, installation of step screen and connection of step screen to the existing screw press, modification of the existing step screen to reduce openings to one millimeter, installation of new drive system for the existing vortex grit system, and all instrumentation, electrical, etc.
