| Description | The purpose of the Water System Plan is to identify system deficiencies that may exist with the following - storage, demand, treatment, pressure zones, fire flow, and the Lake Whatcom Intake. The Plan should provide guidance over the next 20 years on how best to manage capital improvements, development, and maintenance requirements associated with the water system. Additionally, the City is seeking calibration and staff education of the City’s InfoWater computer model, along with a rate study. Services, including professional engineering services, and construction engineering and/or administration, may be added/removed from the contract contingent upon funding availability and project needs. This project is funded through City of Bellingham water utility fund. |
