Description

The work requires that the Contractor provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary for installation of reinforced concrete pipe culvert. The work will include placement of reactive core matting, geotextiles, ground improvements, placement of pipe culvert, filling and grading as specified in the drawings. Due to the condition of the site soils processing and loading of excavated soils will be required if the soils cannot be reused onsite. The Hessler OU-3 Site is in Wilmington, Delaware. Note that prevailing wage provisions are applicable to this procurement. Also, requirements set forth in 20 CFR 1910.120 (HAZWOPER) will partially apply to this project. HAZWOPER training and medical monitoring will be required for personnel performing intrusive earthwork activities.
