Description | The selected consultant's work should summarize existing conditions and deficiencies; collect and synthesize public input; and recommend future improvements and phasing. For many years the 600 & 700 North corridor has functioned solely as a transportation facility. Residents and leaders desire to transform it into a "place" and a "connection". Ultimately, Study recommendations will provide context-appropriate analyses, designs, and implementation and funding strategies for transforming the corridor into a "Great Street" that (1) is memorable, (2) represents and connects the community, (3) fosters life and participation in the public realm, and, (4) provides a comfortable and safe place for all users. The 600 & 700 North corridor will be among the first to be improved with more frequent service as a part of the 2017 Transit Master Plan's Frequent Transit Network (FTN). The City's designated contact person for questions or additional information concerning the services specified in this RFP, or for additional information concerning Request for Proposal procedures and regulations (i.e., submission deadline, forms required, etc.), or Americans with Disabilities (ADA) accommodations, is George Brinkerhoff in the Purchasing and Contracts Management Division: telephone (801) 535-6446; TDD (801) 535-6021; FAX (801) 535-6638; e-mail george.brinkerhoff@slcgov.com . No interpretation of the meaning of any provision in this RFP, nor correction of any apparent ambiguity, inconsistency, error, or any other matter pertaining to this RFP shall be made to the offeror orally. All questions requesting clarification or interpretation of any section or sections of this RFP must be submitted online through the Utah Public Procurement Place (UPPP) website prior to 5:00 pm, Wednesday, July 3, 2019.
