Description

The general Scope of Work for this Folly River Paddle Sport Access Facility will include: 1- Clear and rough grade parking area and sidewalk path to water’s edge 2- Construct fixed timber access dock with railing and ADA compliant aluminum hand rail, relocate large rocks at rivers edge as necessary. 3- Install pre-manufactured floating dock system with anchor piles, per manufacturer’s design, to accommodate paddle sport equipment (Stand Up Boards, Kayak, etc.) The last floating dock section shall have as many accessible features as can be accommodated in the dimensional area provided. Such features shall include bumper rails, hand railings, transfer platform or seat, grab bars to access resting paddle board or kayak. 4- Construct segmental block retaining wall along proposed parking area 5- Fine grade parking area and sidewalk using compacted base detail and ADA compliant stone fines, with an ADA van parking space with sign. 6- OCRM will require a simple as-built survey of the timer access dock, ground out dock, floating dock and parking area. This will be the responsibility of the contractor to provide.
