Jefferson St., Joliet, IL 60432 and marked clearly on the outside of the SEALED package with the CONTRACT NUMBER AND NAME OF THE PROJECT, DATE AND TIME OF THE SUBMISSION DEADLINE, NAME AND ADDRESS AND PHONE NUMBER OF YOUR COMPANY and RECEIPT OF ALL ADDENDA (if applicable). All bidders will be required to submit Bid Security in the form of a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or a Bid Bond in the amount of Ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid, payable to the City of Joliet. The successful bidder will be required to post performance Security and to provide a Certificate of Insurance as set forth in the Invitation to Bid and the General Terms & Conditions. Bidders are required to be pre-qualified through the Illinois Department of Transportation, the Capital Development Board or the City of Joliet. It is the responsibility of the bidder to ensure that their pre-qualification information is provided to the City of Joliet Purchasing Division prior to the bid opening. If bidders are not prequalified through IDOT or Capital Development Board, then they must be prequalified with the City of Joliet. Financial prequalification forms can be obtained from the City of Joliet The City of Joliet reserves the right to reject any and all bids, parts of any and all bids, or to waive technical errors or omissions in bids. The Contract shall be subject to the provisions of the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1 et seq.) to the extent required by law.
