Water and Wastewater Line Replacement Services

The successful bidder shall be expected to provide services, to include labor, material, transportation, tools, supplies, equipment, and appurtenances, unless specifically excepted, for the satisfactory completion of multiple projects to replace water and wastewater lines in various areas within the city limits of the CITY. Water line projects will generally include the replacement of existing water distribution lines located within the City’s right-of-way (typically caliche alleys) with approximately 500-2,000 L.F. of new water lines in the size ranges of 2” to 8” in diameter, fire hydrants, valves, services, and all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals required for the project. Wastewater line projects will generally include the replacement of existing wastewater collection lines located within the City’s right-of-way (either caliche alleys or paved streets) with approximately 500-2,000 L.F. of new wastewater lines in the size ranges of 4” to 8” in diameter, valves, services, and all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals required for the project. Typically, the City will attempt to provide all pipe, valves, fire hydrants, and other inventory required for each project.
