Sewer Water and Reclaimed Water Main Right-of-Way Clearing

A. Work under this contract shall include the clearing, bushhogging, and/or chopping of all vegetative growth along County-owned sewer, water and reclaimed water mains. B. The width of the clearing shall be 15 feet. This Is generally as measured 7.5 feet on both sides of the centerline of each manhole cover along the outfall sewer main and shall be 15 feet, as measured 7.5 feet on both sides of the centerline of County marked water and reclaimed water mains being cleared. The contractor shall notify the County at least one week in advance for any water or reclaimed water mains that require the County to mark. In some cases, clearing may be offset from the sewer and water main due to right-of-way limits. In these cases, the county will mark the 15-foot centerline for clearing. C. The clearing work will not necessarily be contiguous for the sewer and water or reclaimed water mains.
