| Description | The project demolition scope includes demolition of eight (8) hot water circulator pumps and their corresponding electrical circuits, and partial demolition of existing hot water supply and return piping, valves, and fittings. The project new work scope includes re-piping the hot water supply and return piping into a primary-secondary configuration, installation of two (2) new constant speed primary pumps at the two (2) boilers, installation of two (2) new base-mounted secondary pumps with variable speed drives, modification of the existing Alerton DDC system to control the new pumps, and insulation of all hot water supply and return piping in the boiler room. |
