Bob Maxwell Memorial Airfield, Oceanside Municipal Airport, Infield Grading Improvements and Apron Reconstruction Project

Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Oceanside, California. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility. All questions or requests for information of a technical nature should be directed to the Project Manager or Engineer of Record "Performance Bond" for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract award to guarantee faithful and timely performance of all work, in a manner satisfactory to the AGENCY, and further guarantee that all materials and workmanship will be free from original or developed defects Payment Bond" (material and labor bond) for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract award to satisfy claims of material suppliers, mechanics, and laborers employed by Bidder on the Work that is the subject of the agreement. A bid shall not be considered by the AGENCY unless a bidder's security in an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the amount bid is enclosed with it in the sealed envelope. Infield Grading Improvements Project (Plan Set A) scope of work includes approximately 3,700 CY of excavation within infield oval areas, placement of approximately 2,091 CY of slope protection rock, and placement of recycled asphalt millings along unpaved airfield vehicle access roads. The AGENCY reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularity, and to take all bids under advisement for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days after the date the bids are publicly opened. The AGENCY reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularity except that the AGENCY shall not re-compute, adjust or modify the total amount bid submitted by any Bidder. The AGENCY reserves the right to adjust any Lump Sum or Unit Price item if the Total Bid Amount does not reflect the added value of the individual Bid item.
