EPA Region 1 Emergency and Rapid Response Services (ERRS V): - a release or the threat of a release of oil, petroleum products, hazardous substances, or of pollutants or contaminants into the environment; - the threat of or actual fire and/or explosion,incident involving terrorist acts, weapons of mass destruction, and chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear incidents; or - a natural or man-made disaster. Contractor shall accomplish all removal, storage, transportation, treatment, and disposal of oil, petroleum products, hazardous substances, pollutants, or contaminants, including contaminated media, in accordance with and by meeting all applicable and relevant safety and environmental laws and regulations at the Federal, state, and local levels. The contractor shall obtain all necessary on-site permits and comply with all applicable and relevant regulations unless otherwise directed in a TO issued by the CO or other OO pursuant to CERCLA. The contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all necessary transportation, off-site treatment, and disposal permits.
