Description | Scope of Work consists of the following: The Ontario International Airport Authority (OIAA or Authority) invites Project Management and Construction Management firms/teams (PMCM) to prepare and submit a Statement of Qualification (SOQ) that respond to this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Project Management and Construction Management Services (PMCM) at Ontario International Airport (ONT). The OIAA is the Owner and will be the Program Manager (OIAA/PM) and will be accountable for all of the OIAA and airport tenant airside, landside and terminal programs and projects. The OIAA/PM will oversee, direct, manage, and lead the PMCM firm / team in the execution of their professional services. The OIAA/PM and PMCM will jointly be known as the OIAA Program Management Team (OIAA PMT). The OIAA is currently involved in the planning, preparation phases and approval stages to undergo transformative construction and development for ONT's capital improvement program (CIP) and tenant improvement (TIP) programs across the airport campus. To ensure the success of the programs, the OIAA will require PMCM services including staff augmentation. A PreQualifications Meeting will be held virtually through MS Teams on Monday, August 15, 2022, at 9:00 a.m., (PDT) . The CIP and TIP may be delivered using any of the following alternative delivery methods: designbidbuild; designbuild; progressive designbuild; construction manager at risk (CMAR). It is possible other forms of alternative delivery methods may also be used. The OIAA PMT is committed to being goal oriented, organized, collaborative and innovative. The team of staff and consultants is dedicated to approaching projects with a positive attitude, analyzing, and evaluating situations critically and strategically to help prevent issues before they happen, and being open to new ideas while minimizing risk to the OIAA and the project scope, schedule and budget. The OIAA/PM has established a draft PMCM framework of how the CIP and TIP may be managed; however, the PMCM is expected to assist the airport in evaluating and advancing the strategy based on their experience and knowledge. The final PMCM framework will be unique to OIAA and be developed based on a clear understanding of the OIAA's operational needs, resources, requirements, and unique challenges. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time |
