Description

Transportation of its municipal solid waste (MSW). The Town intends to issue an initial contract for transportation for a period of 5 years. The term will commence on January 1, 2021 and end on December 31, 2025. The Town of Henniker Transfer Station processes approximately 1500 tons of MSW annually. The transfer station utilizes a compactor system and 2 tri axle closed top steel hydraulic ejector compacting trailers to process and move this material. Approximately one trailer load of MSW is extracted from the transfer station weekly containing approximately 27 tons of material. Gross weight (truck and trailer) approaches or is at the legal limit.
