New Roof and Overflow Drains at Solomon Towers

Work shall include but is not limited to: A. Remove the existing roofing, insulation and plywood to the concrete deck. B. Provide new 60 mil roof. C. Provide brass emergency overflow at elevator room on roof. D. Provide flashing to the existing roof drains E. For parapet wall run membrane over the wall and provide aluminum snap lock fascia system with continuous locking cleat. F. For ventilation shafts serving kitchens, remove the existing fan and provide a cover. G. For ventilation shafts serving bathrooms, remove existing fans and install new ventilation caps with discharge back draft dampers H. Disconnect the power to the fans, pull wire to the panel breaker, change designation in the Panel Legend to "Spare". Remove the exposed conduit and cap. I. Replace as needed the existing 3" stormwater roof drain caps and maintain the existing connection to the interior stormwater piping. J. Provide 17 new emergency overflow drains. Install at old 1" overflow drain locations. K. The remaining 1" diameter overflow drains shall be capped and covered by the new roof. L. Provide new boots for the plumbing vents.
