Runway And Taxiway Seal Coat

The project involves the cleaning and sealing of cracks in the existing asphalt pavement, removal of existing pavement markings, application of an emulsified asphalt seal coat, and remarking of the runways and taxiways at the Philadelphia Municipal Airport. The total Contract Time will be 90 consecutive calendar days and the liquidated damages will be $250 per consecutive calendar day thereafter. The City of Philadelphia hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises/woman business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The project will have a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise goal. Award will be made to the lowest and best bidder and the City of Philadelphia reserves the right to reject any and all bids. A DBE Goal of 7.5% has been established for the Project
