Description

As of July 28, 2022, a design firm has been selected for the project. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Notice Text Notice is hereby given that St. Johns County, FL is soliciting Qualifications for RFQ No: 22-37; Professional Design Services for St. Johns County Butler Park West. Interested and qualified Respondents may submit Qualifications, in accordance with the requirements provided in the RFQ Document, to the St. Johns County Purchasing Division located at 500 San Sebastian View, St. Augustine, FL 32084. This project will include redesign of the parking lot and delineation of parking spaces to maximize and increase the total number of available boat trailing parking stalls; relocating and adding American with Disability Act (ADA) parking spaces and access to site amenities, improving and expanding the existing floating dock to accommodate more boat tie-off locations, improvements to parking lot drainage, design of bulkheads and other erosion control methods as needed, development of a designated kayak launch area, renovation and/or expansion to the existing restroom, relocation and/or demolition of existing picnic pavilions, and design of any other park-like amenities as needed. Design of landscaping as required by the Development Review Committee (DRC) and as needed to improve the aesthetics of the park facility. The park and boat ramp are located at 399 Riverside Blvd on a 38 acre State owned parcel. The final design and development will be reviewed and approved by the State Park Reviewing Board The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
