ARPA - Fire Tower Facilities Upgrades (Belknap/cardigan) Federal Aid Project Belknap Mountain, Gilford, NH Cardigan Mountain, Orange, NH Description: Repairs and upgrades to two Fire Tower Cabs and two Watchmen's Cabins. One Tower and Cabin on top of Mount Belknap in Gilford, NH. One Tower and Cabin on top of Mount Cardigan in Orange, NH. Limited access to remote sites; helicopter delivery of material to site assumed necessary. Crew access to remote sites; by established hiking trail(s). The Project will include the Discipline(s) of General Contractors, Concrete, Metals, Wood and Plastics, Thermal and Moisture Protection, Doors and Windows, Finishes, and Electrical. No valid bidding proposal will be issued to a prospective bidder who is not qualified. Companies, corporations or trade names, except sole proprietorships must be registered with the Secretary of 5 State (Corporate Division, Telephone No. 603/271-3244) in order to do business with the State of New a Hampshire. Bidders are advised that final bid award, as approved by Governor and Executive Council, and issuance of a notification to proceed with the work, can occur up to 60 days or more after the bid opening date.Per section 00204.18.2, Low Bidder has 10 days after notice of award to submit signed Contract, Certificate of Insurance, and Disadvantage Business Enterprise forms, if required. Bidders must submit a 5% bid security at Bid and must furnish a 100% payment and performance security prior to execution of contract.
