Vernal Drainage Project

Remove and replace existing 24-inch corrugated metal pipe segments located on either side of the existing irrigation diversion box at SE corner of 600 West Main Street in Vernal. Both pipe segments are connected to existing 24-inch RCP. Install parallel 24-inch bypass pipe around the existing irrigation diversion box. Locate bypass pipe along the shoulder and tie into existing storm drain pipe. Intercept existing 18-inch CMP lateral. Plug old pipe lateral opening in existing catch basin at 620 West. Construct ped ramp and concrete sidewalk at the SE corner of 600 West. UDOT will provide cast-iron detectable warning panels. Contact John Jorgensen at the Vernal Shed, 435-828-7423. Remove existing steel plates that were placed underneath 6-inches of asphalt pavement at 720 West. Coordinate pickup with John Jorgensen, UDOT Vernal Shed.
