Description

The Engineering Department, Roads Division on behalf of the County of Passaic, issues the request of this bid. It must be fully understood whenever the vendor receives a call to provide equipment, the equipment will be required to operate continuously until the roadway has been cleared sufficiently, in the opinion of the Supervisor of County Roads or his/her designated representative, to permit the dismissal of the vendor’s equipment. The vendor must be able to provide relief drivers and/or operators to insure all equipment called-out will be operational throughout the entire time the vendor remains activated by the Roads Division, which may include the clean-up operation following the actual storm.
