Ada County Landfill Depredation Services

Ada County County is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide depredation services, which include falconry, at the Ada County Landfill. Ada County has obtained a depredation permit. A depredation permit is intended to provide short-term relief for bird damage until long-term nonlethal measures that can be implemented to eliminate or significantly reduce the gull issues. The County expects that any vendor interested in this Request for Proposals will review the permit and the law and understand the requirements for functioning under a depredation permit. The contract will require any vendor to certify that they can and will comply with the laws regarding depredation and that any violations will be the responsibility of the vendor. Questions Due Date: Jun 26th 2023, 4:00 PM Any proposers protest of the recommendation must be in writing and received by Ada County @adacounty.id.gov, no later than 4:00 p.m. local time on July 17, 2023. The Board will consider the proposals for potential award on July 18, 2023, at or about 9:00 a.m. local time in in the Board of Ada County Commissioners Conference Room, located on the third floor of the Ada County Courthouse and Administration Building, 200 West Front Street, Boise, Idaho 83702.
