Questions about this procedure shall be directed to the Designer at:Mark Matthews, Architect 7916 Wrenwood Blvd., Suite D Baton Rouge, LA 70809 Telephone: 225-756-5011 E-mail:Matthewsmp1@bellsouth.net Scope Of Work- Project consists of the replacement of the bayou manchac boat storage facility located in akers, louisiana for the louisiana department of wildlife and fisheries due to damage sustained during hurricane katrina. Bids shall be accepted from Contractors who are licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2192 for the classification of Building Construction. Bidder is required to comply with provisions and requirements of LA R.S. 38:2212(B)(5). No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after receipt of bids, except under the provisions of LA. R.S. 38:2214. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. In accordance with La. R.S. 38:2212(B)(1), the provisions and requirements of this Section and those stated in the bidding documents shall not be waived by any entity. Facility Planning and Control is a participant in the Small Entrepreneurship (SE) Program (the Hudson Initiative) and the Veteran-Owned and Service-Connected Disabled Veteran-Owned (LaVet) Small Entrepreneurships Program. Bidders are encouraged to consider participation. Complete Bidding Documents for this project are available in electronic form. They may be obtained without charge and without deposit from Mark Matthews, Architect. Printed copies are not available from the Designer but arrangements can be made to obtain them through most reprographic firms. Plan holders are responsible for their own reproduction costs.
