Description

The project consists of the design and construction of approximately 29,488 SQFT Fire Station, 7,446 SQFT Air Traffic Control Tower, and a 6,000 SQFT Airfield Operations Building. Construction will include all utility services, information systems, fire detection and alarm systems, roads, walks, curbs, gutters, storm drainage, parking areas, and site improvements. The project consists of the design and construction of approximately 29,488 SQFT Fire Station, 7,446 SQFT Air Traffic Control Tower, and a 6,000 SQFT Airfield Operations Building. Construction will include all utility services, information systems, fire detection and alarm systems, roads, walks, curbs, gutters, storm drainage, parking areas, and site improvements. RFQ questions shall be submitted on the Public Purchase website by 1:00 p.m. Mountain Time on June 30, 2023. All questions will be answered and provided to all prospective bidders via answers on the Public Purchase website or in the form of a written addendum posted on Public Purchase, on or before July 6, 2023. Questions received after 1:00 p.m. Mountain Time on June 30, 2023, will not be addressed. The project will be constructed on State land and will be designed to meet Industry Standards as well as all local, State, and Federal building codes and as per Public Law 90-480. Facilities will be designed to a minimum life of 50 years in accordance with DoD's Unified Facilities Code (UFC 1-200-02), including energy efficiencies, building envelope and integrated building systems performance as per ASA (IE&E) Sustainable Design and Development Policy Updated 2017. Access for individuals with disabilities will be provided. Antiterrorism measures in accordance with the DoD Minimum Antiterrorism for building standards will be provided. This complex will be designed and constructed to meet the requirements of a National Guard Fire Station in compliance with UFC 4-730-10 c1 Fire Stations, Airfield Operations building and Aircraft Control Tower in compliance with UFC 3-260-01 and UFC 4-133-01 c2. This project has been coordinated with the installation antiterrorism plan. Risk and threat analyses have been performed in accordance with DA Pam 190-51 and TM 5-853-1, respectively. Protective measures required by regulation and the minimum standards as required by UFC 4-010-01 (Department of Defense Minimum Antiterrorism Standards for Buildings) are needed. The new complex will be constructed for the Wyoming Army National Guard (WYARNG). This project will serve full-time, traditional guardsmen, and civilian personnel. The project will be capable of supporting all manner of training and operations for all State and Federal missions.
