All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check payable to the Board of Park Commissioners of the City of Evansville in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid amount as evidence of good faith of the bidder and such deposit shall be subject to forfeiture in the event the bidder fails to execute his contract in accordance with his bid.
