Description | Elm Creek Site 37 is a single-purpose, earthen flood prevention dam constructed in 1985 and located 4.5 miles west northwest of Cameron, Texas. Elm Creek Site 38 is a single-purpose, earthen flood prevention dam constructed in 1989 and located 3.5 miles west northeast of Cameron, Texas. Elm Creek Site 43 is a single-purpose, earthen flood prevention dam constructed in 1989 and located 6.5 miles north northwest of Cameron, Texas. The proposed construction at Site 37, 38, and 43 will repair the plunge basin by replacing earthfill and installation of rock riprap. |
